London is agog today in anticipation of one of the biggest weddings this side of the world!!! Saturday, August 24, 2013!!! As the gorgeous daughter of one of the richest men in Nigeria, Mr. Jim Ovia, founder & former MD/CEO of one of the biggest banks in Nigeria-Zenith Bank (the largest bank in Nigeria according to Forbes), his investment portfolio in some of the biggest brands in Nigeria the likes of (ZenithBank, Visafone Communications, Civic Center event, he is building a massive 5-star hotel next to his Civic center as we speak, Quantum Luxury Properties Limited, Proprietor of the University of Information & Technology in Agbor, Delta State, also founder of one of the best schools in the country- JAMES HOPE  COLLEGE, also in Delta State, a FREE co-educational high school, with an initial capacity for 420 students) is staggering. He is said to be worth about $850 million, but those in the know estimates it's more in the region of $1 billion plus. 

Isioma (Isi) Ovia this afternoon at about 5 pm to be more accurate at St. Mark's Church, Hamilton Terrace, St. John's Wood, London NW8 9UT would be signing on the dotted line with her handsome beau in tow, in the person of Ola Olowu, a top Ad Executive. Ola is the elder sibling who is popular media personality Illrmyz's brother. Thereafter, after the exchange of vows, the wedding reception would hold at The Savoy Hotel, Savoy Place WC2R OBL.

The event team would be providing special ''Wedding Special'' buses to and from The Savoy Hotel & The Four Seasons Hotel, Hamilton Place, Park Lane Mayfair from 4:15pm to St. Marks Church in St. John's Wood.

Ola apparently proposed to his beau on her 28th Birthday celebration at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos. It was quite a very romantic one that took the bride to be by surprise as she was not expecting the drama of it all. 

Isi recounting it all-  

It was my 28th birthday and I was just looking forward to a quiet dinner at the Wheatbaker with Ola. He was behaving strangely and I almost wanted to tell him to forget the whole dinner. Then when the waitress lifted the cover for my "meal" I was greeted with a plate filled with nothing but a small dark grey box. After he got down on one knee and the clapping from fellow dinning patrons had died down, I was still unable to speak. Fighting back the tears that threatened to flood my face and the knee jerk reaction of giving him my tightest bear hug, I finally said "Yes".

 

WHEN ISI SAID YES!

On her wedding train would be 2 of her younger siblings, Zephia and Tito, who would be supported by 2 of Isi's friends- Gwen & Camellia. While the groom has his handsome brother 'Bardia' Adebola Olowu aka Illrymz has best man & supported by 3 of his friends- Oni, Yomi & Charles.
