The Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo (His Excellency, Governor Rochas Okorocha) on Public Relations, Nkiru Sylvanus was reportedly kidnapped yesterday in Owerri, the state capital. The gorgeous Nollywood actress had only just transferred from her Lagos office to Owerri about a few weeks ago, only for her to have fallen into the hands of her abductors. She was in the company of 3 others when the kidnap occurred.
According to reports, the abductors have gotten in contact and are demanding a hundred million Naira(N100million) for her safe return. This would be the 2nd kidnap involving someone in Government in 2 weeks. First was the aged mother of the Minister for Finance, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, now its a proper Government official that has been abducted, if it's so easy to grab people like this, what would normal people now do?
