We just love the way the Nigerian Super rich do their things. They love to show their class no matter what and no matter whose ox is gored. It's like indirectly saying, If i have it, why not let others know. We especially love the choice of toys to play with. Be it their yachts, bikes, phones etc....Whatever it is that they chose to use separates them from others by miles. 

Mr Richard Alabi, who is the subject of this post is one of those super rich dudes, who loves to show class with his awesome cars. We are not going to talk about all the other super machines in his intimidating garage, except for 2. These 2 monsters alone in that intimidating garage conservatively must have cost him not less than $559,619, that is Five hundred and fifty nine thousand, six hundred and nineteen Dollars, converting that into Naira at a Dollar to 158 would be around #88, 419, 802. That's a colossal amount on just 2 cars. And their are others still in that garage. 

The first of the 2 monsters is a 2013 Mercedes G65 AMG.  This according to car buffs, is the most intimidating, the most powerful and the most expensive of the new range of G-wagons. It boasts of an AMG 6.0Liter V12, Biturbo Engine. It's distinguishing factor apart from the cost which is $340,000 or E264,180 in Euros, is the high-gloss chrome radiator grille and the new set of 20'' 9.5 x 20 AMG, 5-Spoke light alloy wheels, painted Titanium grey with high sheen finish and wrapped in 275/50R20 Tires. The interior is out of this world and we need not talk about it. It does 0-60 in just 5.3 seconds. Mr Alabi's choice of colour is black. We hear the G-65 was made for the rich Sheiks, who wanted an intimidating G-wagon that separates theirs from other pretenders to the throne, who could easily afford the G63, which looks exactly like the G65 but, with a different engine. According to our findings, Richard might be the only one or most likely one of the 1st 3 to own the G65 in Nigeria, presently. 

The 2nd second car is a bit more common, we hear about 8000 of it has been sold all over the world so far, about 30% of that in America. But a few has been seen in Nigeria. This car is none other than the world famous Ferrari California. A range that was started by Ferrari in 2008 and was first developed as a Mesarati.  It's the least expensive of all the Ferrari's at about $219,619 base. That's not adding all the customization the client might want to have in it. The Black-on-black 2013 Ferrari California as owned by Mr Alabi, is described as the car with 2-souls. It's a grand touring sports car, with a 2-door, 2 +2 hard-top coupe cabriolet. It carries a 4.3 liter V8 Engine which delivers 490 horse-power, and does 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. It's the first front engined Ferrari with a V8. It's also the first with a folding metal roof. This 2013 version of the California is considered the most powerful and the lightest of all the previous ones made from 2008 till date. A certain Didi owns a red version of it. 

Richard Alabi is into oil and gas, a part of the sector that seem to have made many mind-blowingly rich in the last decade, by that we mean a lot of the nouveau rich. We hear he owns vessels, but has now entered into products. Unlike some of his island based super liquid colleague, he prefers Ikeja as his domain.
