The hula hoop bag just unveiled by world famous fashion brand Chanel, might soon become the new fashion sensation for the stylish and the fashion conscious. At just £1500 Pounds which translates to about 375,000 Naira (that's at 250 to a Pound) is very affordable we think. The head designer at Chanel like everyone knows, is the great motor mouth himself- Mr. Karl Lagerfeld.
It was lampooned by fashion critics when it came out, with many declaring it ridiculous and unusable. Though Chanel officials came out to defend their creation saying ''it's for the beach''. Instead of the big version as seen on the catwalk coming out on sale, its only the smaller sized version that would be selling from Spring next year.
We can bet that by the time it starts selling, we are sure to see some of our Nigerian fashion A-listers, the likes of Nkiru Anumudu and company having one or 2 colours.
