FRILLS,THRILLS & FUN BY VONNE @ MMR 2011

Yvonne Nwosu was the 1st designer to showcase at the much publicised Inaugural Music Meets Runway 2011 showcase, a confluence of -Music & Fashion. Her Vonne brand has created a very distinctive flavour in the fashion arena, known exclusively for her love of the Damask fabric, many had expected that she was going to showcase a collection with the beautiful fabric as a predominant element, but she surprised everyone with her creativity, showing that she was not a one way traffic in terms of ideas & creative medium, been the first brand to showcase at any show, one is expected to herald what the show is to offer, and with her in the driving seat, she was able to deliver, as model after model came out to loud and appreciative applauds, it was obvious that the Vonne label as an assured future. Vonne's showcase was accompanied by the performance of one of the top artist on the Mo Hits label-Da'Prince, and truth be told, for a 1st show, the organisers must be commended, for still delivering after the Amber Rose fiasco.
The show was a type of the highly successful ''Rip the Runway'' show that is broadcast by BET in America
