SHADE OKOYA BAGS CHIEFTAINCY TITLE- THE AJISEWA OF OKE-ONA EGBA

Come this Tuesday, February 19, 2013, all roads would be leading to Oke Ona, Egba, Abeokuta, Ogun State as the youngest wife of the Aare of Lagos, Multimillionaire real estate mogul Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, in the person of Shade Okoya would be decorated with a chieftaincy title. The very fashionable wife of the Eleganza boss, is one of the 3 that would  be so honored on the date. 

You can bet that the capital of Ogun State, Abeokuta would be agog and in a celebratory mode as friends and family members of the Okoyas would gather in large numbers to rejoice with Shade as his royal majesty, the Osile Oke-Ona, Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Adewale Tejusho, CON, Dsc, the Karunwi III, Oranmiyan Osile Oke Ona Egba makes her an honorary Chief of his domain, Oke Ona Egba. Shade would be honoured with the title of Ajisewa of Oke Ona Egba, which literally translates to ''Beauty or Gorgeousness personified'' of Oke Ona Egba, also to be honoured on the date are Retired Justice George Adesola Oguntade, CFR, CON, FCI.Arb & Chief Mrs. Modupe Oguntade, who would bag the titles of Gbofinro (standard bearer of the law) of Oke Ona Egba & Erelu Gbofinro respectively. 

The main reason for the choice of Tuesday, February 19 is because that's the birthday of his royal majesty Oba Adedapo Tejuosho. The revered king would be 75 years old on that day and part of the activities to mark the birthday is the Iwuye (Chieftancy ceremony).

Thanksgiving Service for His Royal Majesty's birthday is at The Cathedral of St. James African Church, Idi-Ape, Ago-Oko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. 

Time is 10.00 AM

Iwuye Ceremony for Chief Mrs. Folasade Okoya, Hon. Justice George Adesola Oguntade (Rtd) & Chief Mrs Modupe Oguntade.

Venue: The Palace of the Osile Oke-Ona Egba, Sapon, Ago-Oko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. 
Reception: The Bishop Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Time: 2PM.

Sunday, January 27, 2013 was the 25th birthday of one of the most beautiful and brilliant daughters of Billionaire industrialist, Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya of the Eleganza fame. The delightsomely gorgeous Hadiza Okoya, who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, with a degree in Advertising & Media, and who only just relocated back to Nigeria from the UK, where she had been most of her life, is one of the most well behaved rich kids we have ever come across in a long while.

So since the day was her birthday and because she had only just come home after her long sojourn abroad, the family had for her a 2-pronged celebration; a party celebrating her birthday and a welcome home shindig. It was a fun affair, as the birthday girl was up and about making sure everyone who came had a nice time. The party was originally planned as pool party sort of, but the rain on the day didn't allow for that, so it was moved in to the hall by the poolside. The Okoyas known by most to be perfect hosts, made sure there was enough of all the goodies to round, though it was an impromptu party; Champagne, Brandy, cocktails of all sorts, Ice-cream, cakes, barbecued chicken, finger foods, Sharwama, ofada rice, amala etc were available in abundance. One wouldn't have believed that the party was organised in just one day.

On hand to celebrate with the birthday girl were family members that included her doting dad, Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, his young wife Shade, uncle Demola & his Wosilat Seriki, Tunde, Aina, Taofiq & Lola, Lanre & Sophie, Bisola Tokan & her cute young boy ; apart from all the family members we saw 3 of the most in demand music acts right now at the party also, Burna Boy, Dammy Krane & Flowsick & many others guests were around to felicitate the birthday girl.  Like we already made mention, it was a cool affair.
